A crate is highly recommended for house-breaking, traveling, and to provide your puppy with a secure safe haven when you have to be gone from home and have no one to supervise him. We recommend a wire crate and find the "suitcase" style very handy. This type of crate folds down to the size of a suitcase and has handles for easy carry. The Econoline "Gorilla Tough" crate is available from Drs. Foster and Smith Pet Supply. The most practical size for a puli is the one designed for medium breeds (24"x36"x26") with a floor grate. (Caution: we recommend that the floor grate only be used when people are close by, in case the puppy catches a toe in the mesh.) 

Always use a good quality dog shampoo. Do not use human shampoo or dish detergent on the puli’s coat. We recommend Bio Groom Products. There is more about bathing supplies on the Grooming page.
